Around the summer of 2018 Amy and I jokingly said we should go to France to watch the 2019 Women's World Cup. The joke turned into serious consideration and us ultimately deciding to go for it. Initially we considered planning the trip ourselves, but it quickly became apparent that when trying to consider all of our options and keeping in mind the needs of two children was more than either of us wanted to tackle. This led into looking at package options. In our search we came across ProActive Travel, a company that specializes in sports tours who had a package that appeared to be a balanced mixture of soccer and sight seeing activities. The package included lodging, breakfast, all transportation (once in France), tickets to three matches, and entry into all sight seeing events. We read some reviews, checked with the better business bureau, and pulled the trigger. We secured passports, travel guides, plane tickets, and started counting down the days.
